Are they still using those daft buses to get us from the plane to the terminal at IAD? If yes, any hints on where to stand to get off first etc?

Ahh yes the moon buggies.. afraid so.

Best place to stand (or sit if you get there quickly) is next to or slightly behind the driver. Then mad dash through the doors and down the far escalator.. hopefully border control will be moving quickly.

Whilst the Aerotrain has replaced most of what the mobile lounges used to do, they are still used to transport the arriving pax to the immigration hall.

You use the Aerotrain for departures, just not for international arrivals.

It's there and operational but I don't think it connects to the Immigration hall
