Virgin America upgrades

Sorry if this has been asked and answered elsewhere but a quick search proved fruitless.

As I understand it, on VX you can upgrade to Main Cabin Select, subject to availability, at T-24 and to First at T-6.

But can you do both - ie upgrade to MCS at T-24 and then again to First if there's still availability at T-6?

Also - any opinions as to which MCS row has the most legroom - 3 or 10? (9 doesn't recline I don't think).

Thanks in advance.

From memory, yes you can but once you check in you need to call them to do the second upgrade or do it at the airport.

e.g.

I may be misremembering and things may have changed, of course.

Yep that's definitely how it worked earlier in the year.. not sure if things have changed yet with the new rules however!
