Would be better as its a bit of a drag to/from NRT...although good connections in reality adds an hour to your journey.

The slots for international landings at HND should ease by 2014, they were/are pretty restrictive to begin with hence the awful times.

It's for 2014. Come end of 2013 I will, as it save the schlep form Narita, even though the Skyliner is easy enough.

While I was living in Tokyo I actually preferred the BA timings. Hitting LHR at 3.45 pm always meant an onward journey in evening rush hour. i found arriving at 11ish AM much better. And arriving at 5 AM in Tokyo allowed for a quick nap, shower and in work by 8AM

Great move by VS. Will offer greater connections on NH, better timings for passengers and a much easier airport. Excellent news and great to see the 787 mentioned!

Looks like the switch to HND could be in place for the Summer 2014 timetable. I wonder what they'll do about moving the Clubhouse from NRT?

Like you say will be good not having the 1.5hr journey to shinjuku.
Also hoping for similar times as NRT though
