V-Flyer

After reading recent article about the vs employee that got the sack for revealing celeb pax details, it's occurred to me.... I've never seen one on any vs flight! So... Childish, but curious... Who's seen any on Virgin flights? Is virgin even the preferred airline for our movie stars? Which destinations could I expect to share some turbulence with someone famous?! Bet eveveryones far to grown up to post a reply but... It's a bit of fun! 8D

We sat beside Roy Hodgson and his wife in July.
They were extremely pleasant and friendly.

I want to bump into Simon cowell on a BGI flight... Just imagine the TR! Haha! But.. He lives in LA now and flys everywhere in a diamond encrusted private jet maybe an xfactor wannabe will do!

Infact... It's just hit me, back in the days when I worked for AA (years ago!!) I did have the pleasure of escorting Wendy Richards (Pauline Fowler) to her flight... Wonderful memories! Haha!

Coming back from LA a few years back , we had Dominic from prison break, Steve Coogan, Darius and Sara Cox in Upper.

A few years ago we saw John Barnes (footballer) in PE travelling back from Orlando. Richard Stillgo (who?) bumped into him at the luggage carousel in Orlando (used to be on tv years ago playing piano and singing silly songs). Jonathan Ross with Mrs Ross and child in the airside restaurant at Gatwick. Not VS but BA flight to Newcastle had Kenny Daglish in the seat in front of me. Never travelled UC so not seen any major celebs

On our VS18 last month there was a producer from one of the bond films in 1D but I only know that because of the crew telling me at the bar!

I remember a few years back Andi Peters was a little frustrated that he couldn't go upstairs to the Sky Lounge and sit...

...because we had it blocked off for a group of us when we flew on my birthday. :w ):


That, and Jack Osborne before. Oh, and Liz Hurley last Tuesday (who, interestingly, was assisted by the crew in walking to the door with her entourage while the aircraft was still taxiing from the runway about 2 seconds after the captain made an announcement for all to stay seated...)

I interviewed him once in about 2004 - a truly lovely down to earth bloke.

We saw Alexa Chung checking in for our flight back from JFK. She was travelling UC and we were economy so I don't know what she was like as a fellow traveller.

Anton Ferdinand was on my flight to Orlando in PE and Stelios from easy jet sat next to me in UC when we flew home from JFK in 2006

11 july , lgw to vegas , in uc. we had joseph fiennes and his supermodel wife,sitting next to us,we spent 10 hours talking to them ,did not have a clue who they where until baggage reclaim when people where asking for autographs ?.im still trying to recall what i said to them after 11 hrs of drinking

LOL I don't disagree but it's the best I've got! She looked a right miserable so and so anyway!

I wonder if delboy and Rodney trotter count? Their priceless holiday to Miami was curtosy of vs! Or so I remember.... Haha! And of course the Jennifer Anniston and Hugh laurie scene in 'friends' was on a vs flight! Come to think of it, SRB popped in an appearance in both those programmes too! Such an actor wannabe!! Haha!
