Hi, just passing a bit of time on flighradar and noticed VMEG is current operating a positioning flight from MAN to LGW. Take a look at the really bizarre track, it has circled way out ino the channel/ocean a good 8-10 times. Any reason for this??

G-VMEG is leaving the fleet and I believe was in MAN to be painted white before being returned.

I imagine the bizarre route was to conduct extensive tests and compile reports etc before the a/c is handed back.

G-VMEG was the very first VA aircraft I flew on and now she's gone :-(

RIP Mystic Maiden.

Her #3engine is all open and in bits behind the virgin hanger as we speak.
