I see she is going to LHR tonight. Wonder if this is for normal services, or maaintenance?
Now we have 3 330's at LGW and often only the 75/76 rotation for them.

It's operating the DEL flight tonight.

I am surprised about that - no UC to DEL on a LHR flight, load must be low but in my experience DEL gets full UC cabins ... or did I miss a reconfig, the aircraft database still shows her as PE and Y only.

?| ?| I thought (based on info from here) that the 2x2 cablin class A330's would remain as such and wouldn't be reconfigured.

She is still only a 2 class config with no current plans for that to change. Maybe an issue with one of the LHR 333's meaning they had no option.

Didn't G-VKSS operate a one off flight to Accra earlier in the year too?

Probably a problem with one of the aircraft at LHR. SXY has been to Nairobi before now.

Looks like she went to LHR relatively late on (arriving just over two hours before the DEL flight) suggesting a problem with a LHR aircraft. Hopefully any UC passengers won't be too disappointed... But these things alas do happen.

How would this work then ?
Would they move all UC passengers to PE and some PE passengers back to Eco ?

And it looks like she will do the return journey one more time today ... Do we know what the issue is ? Looks like Miss Sunshine is having some problems ...

Anyone know what VS actually do in these circumstances- Do they offer alternative carriers/dates to UC pax. I would want a substantial refund if I booked UC and ended up PE - the fare differnce is substantial.

It would be an involuntary downgrade according to EU rules I should think plus whatever compensation VS will offer. Either that or offer a different date.

If you are involuntarily downgraded, you're entitled to a refund of 75% of the entire return fare paid.

They don't have to offer an other carrier (and they don't) or a change in date - after all the flight is still running.
Article Ten of EU 261/2004 is clear on what an airline should do re downgrades - but what they do in practice may be different (and relying on people not knowing their rights).

What if its a reward flight?
I would want more than my miles back.
