worked for me, asked me to quote existing Hilton Honours number etc.....but not interested as I don't use Hilton Hotels

Didn't work first attempt but did second go, so now registered. Staying at Hilton Malta for a week on 9th October, miles for the stay works out at 1,000.

It seems like they sent the email out before someone uploaded the landing page. I left it for a few hours and it worked later on. Handy as I have the Hilton Garden Inn in Milwaukee booked for next week.

I just hope the miles get awarded quicker than HHonors points appear from their credit card. I got their card at the beginning of August as a way of stopping my HHonors points from expiring and with promise of an 'instant' upgrade to HHonors Silver status. My account still hasn't been upgraded and there's no extra points showing from spending on the credit card. It's almost impossible to get any sense out the customer services people at HHonors or the Visa HHonors team.

I also did the same thing with the Marriott Rewards credit card (a few weeks after the Hilton one) and my account was upgraded as soon as I was accepted for their card and I've already got my new silver membership card.

My experience of double dipping at the Hilton suggests a monthly cycle of transfer of mile to FC.

What isn't clear from the t&c is whether they will award as you go or at the end of the promotion.

IMO the credit card is f****** useless. I spent the £10K required to get gold status upgrade and even months down the line and after bugging them by email, they still didn't upgrade my account. In the end, I reached 16 stays with Hilton and upgraded that way before I got anything out of the credit card. HH points get credited about a month after the statement date - so statement dated 20/08/12 will see the points on that statement credited around 20/09/12.

Having just had my first stay under this promotion I can report the extra miles accrue into your HHonors account as you go.

I just completyed my 3rd stay and yes, points show on the HH account, but not on FC yet...

Another 2 to go for the full 15k which will be completed end of Octber
