Hi all,
Hoping in the next few days my seats for my my flight to Barbados on 4th January should be available to pre book,am wondering whether to book the bubble or downstairs? Flew in the bubble some years back to St Lucia and was impressed, very quiet and great service and first off, however after reading a few trip reports am now concerned that PE passengers aren't always one of the first to get off especially the ones upstairs, hence a long wait in the customs queue for those unlucky ones! Really looking forward to this flight especially with the refurbished aircraft!! Any advise would be much appreciated

All down to personal preference but by the time you fly all the LGW 747s should have been refurbished which means the bubble is no longer PE only. It's now a mix of PE and Economy which for some is a negative but for others is fine.

When you get off isn't a major issue IMHO - wherever you sit in PE you'll still be among the first 50 or 60-odd people off the plane. It's only if you're at the back of economy that it really becomes a problem.

The BGI route often get LHR config aircraft anyway, due to high demand for UC.

Check out the "Which aircraft" faciloity...
