Huh 9 people.. sounds like a job for group bookings?!?

Which class of travel?

Economy and UC can request seats 90 days in advance of travel at the moment. Premium Economy will have to wait until early January to snag their seats due to the current fleet refits out of LGW and MAN.

Don't worry though none of the kids will be sitting alone. VS check-in will move people about if necessary to have the adults sitting next to their charges. Remember when requesting seats that they are only a request and VS may very well play musical chairs, only guaranteed when you are physically sitting in them.

Enjoy the flight 8D

Hiya, you should be able to request your seats from 90 days before your flight. It is worth keeping an eye on your booking now and again, just in case VS manage by some miracle to sort out their IT upgrade (though I doubt it)

Not strictly true Joey, if you are flying PE after Jan 6th, the 90 day rule should still apply, it's only those flying PE before that date that have to wait until ONCI opens

The voice of experience, I didn't want the OP to fall foul of slipping timings like a lot of us have been ):

Of course that does only apply to those passengers travelling on a LGW 747... Anyone from LGW on an A330 or from LHR in Premium can assign seats within the next 90 days.

Ha ha, well yes but the OP did say Orlando so unless there has been a shakeup that I was unaware of it is gonna be LGW or MAN fleet 747 - Ian was right, I was wrong :#

Ooooo yeh, of course, the 2 class A333.... hmmm let's ignore that one Ian :P Which routes does that usually fly?

On a serious note for one post here (shocking I know ;) )

It's lucky we have resources like V-flyer isn't it, otherwise we'd all be clueless
