Eurostar redemption

Hi - my partners FC Air miles expire in May and he has no plans to Fly this year.

But we plan to go to Paris in July and was wondering if FC allow you to book Eurostar ticket for travel after the expiry date as long as the tickets are booked prior to expiry (if that makes sense to you)?

Basicaly, his miles expire in May but we don't want to travel until July. When the Eurostar fares are bookable in April can this be done? or does not work like that? I know VAA insist the the O/B leg is booked before the miles expiry but I hoping that Eurostar redemption has different rules.

Typed on my iPhone so apologies for any mistakes.

Thanks

Easier still just add some miles to your account to keep it live:
Buy minimum amount
Buy something thru the shopping portal
A case a virgin wine will grab you 750
Then least your not under pressure to use them....

I understand that these are options but if anyone can confirm the 'rules'. I've sent them a Tweet, but from past experience, they aren't too hot at getting back to you.

Ha ha ha, ok I will not try to make you shop for something - although a simple purchase of near on anything will buy you another three years..

Upon booking and 'paying' the miles are taken out straight away, just like any form of payment. Travel after the expiry of the miles is no prob at all, as long as you have the miles in your account when booking you will not run into any difficulties y)

Enjoy Paris 8D

Thank you all. I was a bit concerned, due to being under the impression that when you booked a flight the O/B leg had to be taken prior to the mileage expiry. I must have got my wires crossed.
