In comes G-VGEM, Out goes G-VFOX

Airbus A330, G-VGEM was returned from its lease and is at Manchester being painted into Virgin Atlantic colours and to be placed on the UK register. Airbus A340-600, G-VFOX has been withdrawn and ferried Heathrow-Dublin for end of lease maintenance and repaint into all white colours before going to Lourdes for storage. Its final passenger service was VS012 from Boston to London Heathrow

It will have to have the cabin refitted as well as I believe it was only 2 class when with China airlines, and it will be 3 class with VS.

Unfortunately more of the horrible UC cabin and less options for the more spacious old layout.

I know its for economical reasons which makes sense but its still sad to see these A340's going, since most of my flights seem to have been on G-VSHY or G-VOGE, they will be missed!
