Hi all
Sorry for another post but I would like to know, on behalf of my other colleagues who are flying PE if it is worth paying the extra £60 for the club house before the flight without having to fly UC or should they just stick with the usual departure lounge?
Many thanks!N y)

You can take one guest in to the CH with you as an UC passenger. If the flights are booked with VS technically you can't buy access to the CH ( only Virgin Holiday passengers can buy access and even then availability is limited). That being said ,an enquiry by them at check in won't hurt ( assuming there aren't loads of them :) ).However if the CH is busy be prepared to receive a polite "no" :) .
Welcome to V- flyer by the way :) .

Are you to see worth of 65 quid ? Only you can answer that, personally I'd skip and save your money and put towards a nice meal out when you get to your destination. I don't think it's worth that amount. Especially when there's more than one of you. Would you pay this anywhere else for approx 2-3 hrs...is the other way of looking at it?

using PP a standard lounge visit is £15 so you could say its only another £50. is it worth it ? down to the individual. as an occasional treat, probably

I have been asked this question a few times when I have been traveling in a group not flying UC.
My answer is always the same. How much would you pay sitting in the terminal? Would you have breakfast in one of many outlets?
Would have a few drinks before walking to the gate?
If it's a lads Vegas trip away then I would say it's not going to be that far away. The difference in the cost and being able to sit out of the way in the CH, watch TV, relax I think is worth it.
Again, as others have said if your paying, it's a personal choice.

I spend more watching spurs every week so I would definitely say it was better value for money!

There are a couple of other lounges at LHR T3 - the ServisAir and the No1 lounge which whilst they are not the CH they are 8D certainly a step up on main departures.
