I'm in the LHR Clubhouse and a mouse is scurrying around my feet. Yikes! Anyone seen them in here before?? Hoping it's a one off.

Hope you tell the staff so something can be done about it. Don't assume that they have also seen it.

The staff would soon know if it were me - I'd be standing on a chair screaming :0

Haha, your replies are amusing me

Yup, I reported it. The staff were pretty eeked by it so I think we can safely assume it will be dealt with!

Bloody Z list mice, take over like they own the place.
Least they're round your feet and not in the kitchen................

Are they the same as Z-class mice?

This could bode serious repercussions, with mice visible in a registered establishment serving food...

I know of someone who also saw a mouse in the LHR Clubhouse a couple of years ago.
I think it is fair to say that the LHR Clubhouse is pretty clean - am not saying it is spotless, but as a place where food is prepared & served, certain standards have to be met. Have just looked on the Hillingdon Council website & the LHR Clubhouse got a 5 star [the highest] food hygiene score when it was last inspected in March 2010.
I think it is fair to say that given the labyrinth of false wall panels / false ceilings / ventilation ducts in somewhere like T3, mice are clearly going to be present. There is only so much you can do to stop them appearing somewhere.

I have no doubt that many an establishment's kitchen has mice.

It seems that there is a new exclusive paint job for the LHR fleet....

The last time I was in the Delta Lounge at MCO in March I saw a mouse. I informed staff at the front desk and they looked at me, smiled and carried on gossiping. Was not at all impressed.

Very true, but a bad day when they're running round your punters feet...

Same with any London building. Every building - some very new - that I have worked in in London in the past 30 years has had a mice problem.
We were at the Queen Elizabeth Hall last week and there was a mouse running around the foyer.
Doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken seriously, just that it isn't a "stop the press!" incident.

That's probably because it's reported to them frequently. I mentioned a mouse encounter in my trip report in January and someone said that they had reported it before me.
