Not sure I want it to move n(
I liked EWR, the food was always good in the corner and it being landside meant it was so easy to pop outside to, well do whatever you needed to do. Will have to pay it a visit to check it out. Next few weeks should let me know....

I think that might be a pic of the old clubhouse. The new one is much nicer than the old one although i too prefer landside to airside. I will put up some pics if I can figure out how to do that from my iPad!
Cheers

I don't remember it looking like that mind it's been about 2 years since I was at EWR.
I do wish VS would date their website pages!

You are correct, the previous clubhouse did not have windows either.
JFK or LHR it is not, but it is an improvement, just having a restaurant rather than a buffet is great!
Cheers

Hey, the buffet was great, was is a restaurant any better? I'll look forward to trying it out in a couple of weeks.

I a also back there in a few weeks.
The buffet was fine if you an infrequent visitor to the EWR clubhouse, gets a bit boring when the menu changes once a year!!
Cheers

Thanks for the link y)
Even though it is now airside, I would be tempted to have a repeat visit as the staff there are so brilliant

Ah yes, that's what's needed. "a seamless
design experience".

I guess it would appeal Jez and Quin from Private Eye's "It's Grim Up North London".

There was nothing materially wrong with the old EWR CH - it was the ________'s from the other airlines who used the lounge that made it a miserable place to be. The only place I have EVER seen people literally scrap over "free" food in my entire life.
I wonder if they've sorted THAT issue out...
