virgin to Virgin

So, I've booked for the family to fly out to Orlando from Manchester next June. Family have or course been on the review sites and read some of the awful feedback about seat size, in flight service, in flight entertainment horror stories etc. Everyone has different expectations I know so I'm happy to see what happens on the day.
My question is would anyone have a high probability idea of which aircraft we might be on :)

thanks in advance
x

What flight number are you on? I'd say you're more likely to be on an A330 than a 747 as they're using it more and more on this route. I've flown in both Y and PE on both and it's fine for a 9.5hr flight. I also think that even if you do happen to be scheduled on a 747 then it will more than likely be a refurbished plane so there's no need to worry about the IFE. I find the IFE system on Virgin one of the best on any airline. You'll be fine!

As above really,if you are on the 73 you will almost certainly be on a 747 which will all have been refurbed apart from vtop which is app leaving around feb next year or if you are on the 75 you should be on a 330 which primarily does this flight.
In my limited experience I wouldn't worry about a thing, for all the bad reports there are thousands of good ones.go to toolbox at the top of this page and go to which aircraft .

Sound advice from Jonathan.

Just a slight addition, when you do find your flight number have a look in the toolbox section of this site and go to the which aircraft option. It will let you know which aircraft have flown this route in the past, of course may be completely different on the day but does give an indication to the aircraft type you might be flying.

Enjoy the flight and welcome to V-Flyer 8D

**Edit - Blacky appears to have beaten me to it... hats off to you good sir |:) **

thankyou all for your commentary, should have said at the outset that we're on the VS073/VS074 combo :)Flying out on 8th June so sounds like all the 747's will have had their makeover by then :)
