I noticed that I had an opportunity to upgrade to UC from PE online (for money) , I clicked on the button to upgrade and the system just refreshed and the option to upgrade went away, a few days later it re-appeared and the same happened, is this normal ?

Unfortunately this kind of thing is very 'normal' on the VS website. Hopefully DL can share some IT tips with them !!

Thanks, it was an easy extra £2000 for Virgin. An impulse purchase .....

Latest, I called virgin to upgrade, they quoted me £3100 per person, on my booking it says £896 per person and to book a new flight with virgin is £2800 travelling in UC mboth ways, it's madness.

Does anyone from Virgin ever check these posts ?

I have upgraded a few times from MMB with no problems (PE to UC) don't know if the online offer is exactly that,I know that the VA page has been playing up today so maybe that's part of the problem

Result, I posted on the Virgin facebook page and a very efficient Howard organised the upgrade for me.

I upgraded a colleague at LHR last week from PE to UC.
£54 + 10,000 miles, bit of a bargain I thought, especially as we asked about paying cash first of all for the upgrade and they quoted £1,200!

Cheers
