V-Flyer

Hi all,
Just a general question here on leaving the aircraft on landing.
My last few flights on VS it seems that a number of PE pax are disembarking the aircraft at the same time as UC pax.

It this a change in VS policy or just certain aircraft?? It doesn't make too much difference to myself as I normally get a seat close to the exit as the bar noise doesn't seem to affect me. I did however hear a few grumblings whist leaving both times.
Was just wondering if they now let a few PE pax off to make disembarking easier. Will be good to know when I next fly PE :0

On the A346s and 333s there isn't normally a 'problem'. Not sure about the 343s.

The LHR 747s are more complicated as you get the upper deck disembarking with downstairs UC, but PE is normally held back.

Not sure about the LGW fleet.

In short, I don't think there has been a change. My flight last week was all as normal.

It all depends on the a/c.

On say a LHR 747, they can disembark UC pax, while holding back PE and Y.

On an LGW 747, because there is a PE cabin between the UC cabin and the exit door, it isn't possible/practical to hold them in their seats while UC pax go through, so they let both cabins off at the same time, and as PE is closer to the door, they get off first.

99% of the time on the (old) LGW 747s it was
1. upstairs (PE)
2. downstairs to the left of the door (thats a small EC cabin/PE and UC

so in theory all of UC was after all of PE and a few EC

thats why seat 80 was so popular

Flew out to SFO in August on a config 4 from LHR, sat upstairs in ecomnomy with UC in front of us......on exit we were let off before the upstairs UC pax ): ): If I were the UC pax I may have been a little upset v(

We may have been the exception to the rule but both directions on our October flights to MCO and hime again the lower PE Cabin followed by upper got off first whilst the Upper deck were held back.

Which is why I no longer fly in the bubble for work, would even take the B zone over that...

VS really do seem to like to fiddle with split class bubble arrangements, which anecdotally seem to benefit the lower class of pax (not literally - you know what I mean!) rather more. I know all the arguments about achieving a certain level of seats for each cabin, challenges with needing seats in each class downstairs, etc etc, but I do still end up scratching my head and wondering if this was really the best they could come up with...

And then I look at the new dream suite and realise 'yes it probably was the best they could come up with'!
