Just go on Virgin Atlantic Website choose The Virgin Experience then click Economy then Ecomomy Meal Service which opens up and click on Economy Meal Service PDF and then look for your flght number. Enjoy

Hi Mint,
Thanks for the advice, I've checked it last night before writing this post ... I was more thinking of what VA effectively serves. Beef or chicken I suppose for mains but I wanted to get real examples of people having flown with them recently on that route.

If the menu is still the same as it was in November flights to the US are as follows.
Starter.
Tomato cucumber and red onion salad with mixed leaves.
Main.
Minced beef with a herb breadcrumb topping served with mixed vegetables and seasoned potatoes
Diced chicken with cheese and leak sauce garlic and thyme potatoes and creamed spinach
Pene pasta with white sauce, roasted vegetables and Italian hard cheese.
A pause to digest and then...
Gu dessert
Served with tea or coffee.
Afternoon tea.
Mixed cheese and red onion sandwiches
Great British cupcake
Served with tea or coffee.
(Menu taken from VS7 in November 2012)
Most UK-US flights have the same menu so your flight won't be too different from this
