V-Flyer

Daughter is flying on 14/01 from LHR to SFO. Flying economy.

Last couple of times we flew VH we payed £60 ish quid to go into the LGW CH and last time a very kind V-Flyer signed us in as their guests.

Can I pay for her to go into the LHR CH ?? (its her birthday a few days later)

Don't think you can book in advance for the CH (unless your booked via VH?) so it's very much an on the day thing so no guarentee as paid access will depend on how busy the CH is.

If you want 100% known access then the #1 lounge has had some good reviews.

Sorry Serena, tonty is correct. You cannot book the CH in advance unless you have booked your holiday with VH (and even then there is a very strict quota per day)

That being said, the CH staff have a good deal of discretion when it comes to paid access. If your daughter goes up on the day and offers to pay to get in, at that time in the morning, odds are good for a yes answer.

If the gods of fortune are not smiling then I would say try one of the pay access lounges.. another vote for the No.1 Lounge, it can get busy but a good lounge nevertheless.

Otherwise cash for the pre flight food/drinks? (shopping too perhaps )

Without wanting to be scrooge, consider that the 19 leaves at a busy time among the late morning bank of departures and the clubhouse can be busy then, it quietens down after.

Not at all, I usually leave when the VS3 does.... guessing it gets a lot busier after then ?|

Arrive uber early then? like when the lounge opens between 630 and 7am... will get some good time in the lounge then
