I find the cheapest place to book hotels in Vegas (and Orlando) is lowcostusa.co.uk

Lowcostusa clearly states the resort fee, but I don't find them any cheaper than going to the hotel direct as a rule.

I'm finding I'm steering clear of booking anything like that via a Virgin site, as I have little faith in the software. As if to illustrate that my lack of faith is justified, I looked at car hire the other day, and the site went round in circles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Linda,

As silverfox mentioned, I often find going direct to the hotel's site is as good as anything.

Doesn't stop me checking all avenues though ;)

I finally bit the bullet and booked through lowcostusa, they were over £220 cheaper than the direct hotels site and Virgin, I confirmed with the agent that all the taxes, fees and resort fees were included.

I also went through QUIDCO for my car hire in Canada and went with AVIS who were £150 cheaper than any body else. ie Virgin and Argus and they had a 20% discount on as well, so hope I have had a satisfactory day of dicounting. More spending money I think |:)

Likewise, I always find the best rate is with the hotel direct. Register for offers and you will get the good rates. Advantages can be refundable or no deposit. The deals on sites like smartevvegas tend to be the rates that you get registering with the hotel.

Yes, Smartervegas tends to be the rates from the hotel, but the hotels often have several different deals going at the same time so you can easily compare which is best for you. Also if you register you can see deals that are not advertised.

Have also had some very good deals from BA website, and booking.com, and Ebookers & Expedia, with Quidco cashback as well
