Hi all

Just wondering if anyone knows when the next reward seat sale is due to happen? I got a great deal in the August sale (3 economy return flights to Orlando for 67,500 miles, upgraded to PE with Amex rewards) and am looking to book another trip.

If only we knew when such things would happen, we would all be a lot richer and have a lot more miles .

Unfortunately this info isn't published so it really is just a matter of waiting and seeing if and when VS decide to announce one.

I do remember that there was some discussion regarding the fact they might have changed the rules regarding upgrading reward seat sales with the AmEx vouchers, but can't remember if it was just an agent getting it wrong, or if it was really a new rule.

We booked PE seats with our AMEX vouchers under the last reward seat sale. The agent I spoke to actively encouraged me to book before the sale ended, otherwise I'd have been charged the full rate of economy miles.

The Ts & Cs for the last reward seat sale (November-ish) did not preclude the use of AMEX upgrades like the summer one did. I used my vouchers without problem (and just before they expired ).

Just seen that a sale has started today - 25% off standard mileage redemption rates in economy. Doesn't say there are any restrictions on using the Amex upgrades either!
