Reward flights and cancellations

Currently we are on the Queen Elizabeth due to end our voyage in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, and due to fly home that night on the VS06 on a couple of G tickets.
We see on the BBC World channel that there are many flight cancellations, so my concern is what happens to our G seats if our flight is cancelled, as the thought of paying for one way Js is eye wateringly scary.
Thanks for any advice.

If VS cancel your flight they will move to you another flight when they next have availability (or just reschedule the whole flight), regardless of if you are using miles or not.
If you miss the flight and it still operates for whatever reason then obviously that is your issue but you would of course have travel insurance.

VS say they haven't really been affected by the snow at LHR, bar some delays - it's primarily short haul flights that have been cancelled.

Most the canx flights are to/from other UK and Europe airports affected/closed by the snow.
Some are canx due to restrictions set by Swanwick. Runnung at 99.7% capacity has its disadvantages.
Seems to be mostly delays on the ground yesterday.
