Seat map open but unable to assign a seat

Could anyone explain why I am unable to assign my seat on the seat map. It shows the available seats and when I submit my choice it says, quote: "We're sorry, the seat(s) you have chosen are not available. You are still shown in your original seat(s)."
However, the is no seat assigned to me!

I did request a seat preference when I booked (or perhaps I've been upgraded to the wing!! Lol ;)

Hi and welcome.

It is still a bit early, while the seat map is open and viewable it isn't actually live yet. Leave it a few hours and check again and you should be okay.

Seat map now live - as you predicted Neil! Seat now booked and waiting for the greyed-out seats to become available and hopefully will bag my usual one! 8D
