I know these are not most peoples favourite things, but how do people actually get them ??

I have a Virgin Amex card for a while and wherea Im not the biggest spender in the world I have had a fair few quid gone through since I got it about 6 months ago.

they appear in your FC account.

Not sure if it is once you reach the required spend (? £7.5k) or at the end of your membership year.

A complimentary companion reward flight

Spend £7,500 or more a year on card purchases using your Virgin Atlantic Black American Express Credit Card and you'll qualify for one complimentary round trip companion reward flight the next time you book a qualifying flight with Virgin

If you spend enough to qualify they get posted to your FC account on the anniversary of your Amex card opening, as far as I recall.

The EC to PE upgrade voucher is issued on the anniversary of the account opening. The virtually useless companion voucher is issued when the spend threshold is reached.... That's whats happened to me over the last 2 years.

the white AMEX card qualifying spend is £10,000 a year for Premium reward upgrade, and £15,000 spend for a companion reward flight.
