Evening all.
I am due to fly out of LGW to MCO in June and have booked the Virgin Clubhouse Lounge.
Can anyone provide any recent reports about the lounge.
Not sure what to expect as never been in it. What can I get complimentary and what is extra?

Thanks all.
Happy Flying

Hi and welcome

See this thread. JoeyC's response has links to PDFs describing the treatments that are on offer and which you have to pay for.

You don't pay for any food or drink once in the CH.

I prefer the LGW clubhouse as IMHO the staff make the service far more personal and as the majority of the passenger are going on holiday this reflects in the atmosphere. The foods good, drinks service excellent there's a kids area and the whilst the spa is smaller the treatments are just as good LHR. So you should really enjoy it and board feeling very relaxed

Sounds perfect. Good start to a Wedding trip! Does MCO have a lounge worth visiting on the return leg?

In a word, No. VS uses the only lounge at the International departures and that is the Delta Sky lounge. It is a very basic lounge that is used by many different airlines and it gets very busy. It offers free drinks, wifi and a few basic snacks and probably only just a better option than the main departure gates.

What many of on here do is eat in the steak house in the main terminal and leave crossing over on the monorail to the departure gates as late as possible (don't leave it too late as the queues for security get pretty big. Personally I arrive at the airport as late as possible, eating before we head there, but we are lucky we have a house we can stay in all day which I know isn't always an option if you have to check out of a hotel/villa early.

Thanks Neil,

I have noticed in the past that security is a huge queue issue at MCO. From your info I won't bother with the lounge and just eT prior to heading to the airport. Might take advantage of the Downtown Disney check in and spend the last of the $$.

Looking forward to the Clubhouse!

Do! After being lucky enough to have a few visits to the LHR CH, we had our first LGW experience this last summer. As PaulS said, one of the great things about it is the enthusiasm of the staff. It really adds to the excitement of the trip.
