What is the exact situation regarding the future of this route?
Flights seem to stop after 24/10.
Or is it a system problem?
Thanks for any info on this.

Indeed, EF says flight cancelled for anything after October and the VS website doesn't list any flights either - seems strange to me, I thought this was a popular run.

Ditto, it would be a great shame for VS to cancel this route.
I'll ask on the VS FB page to see if they can shed any light.

Howard has just confirmed on the VS FB page that the flight is not operating from 27th October 2013 until the 27th March 2014 and that he doesn't know what the long term plan is.

Very disappointing, and I can only assume that the loads are poor during the non peak season.

just checked and my sister's flight in November has been "resheduled" onto LGW/LAS!.. Also just went to confirm a booking for 7 pax inbound las/man 12 dec and same situation. Switched booking to BA as no service LGW/MAN anymore.. at least ba has thru service with plane change at lhr

Nuts. We are planning a MAN LAS jaunt April 2014. Hopefully schedules will be available in good time.

Thankfully yours truly booked in for mid September.....

This is disappointing news. That said, for about a month this winter the flight has been combined with the LGW service on a Sunday, it has not operated every Thursday and has been scheduled on a A333 on most days it has operated..when I returned from Vegas in December the VS86 was very empty indeed!

Hope it returns after its winter holiday as I was always under the impression it has proved very popular indeed!!

Wonder if Cancun might take its place?

Still think a great opportunity for VS to bring the PR machine out, push a campaign out and run a direct New York leg out over the winter months on a A330... Major missed opportunity if you ask me...

I know BA's services are only from London airports, but perhaps their 10 x weekly service to LAS is making a large dent in VS' numbers?
