My wife and I are travelling to Las Vegas in June and as it is her 50th,we have decided to go Premium Economy for the first time.

I am after some recommendations as to picking the best seats and would be grateful for input from recent flyers.

Also,I have seen numerous photos but cannot tell if you have pull down tables from the seat in front of you, or if they are built into the seat.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

Andy.

Welcome - this thread should help:

Also worth checking the trip reports section for recent comments about flights to/from Gatwick or Manchester on a refurbished 747, as that's most likely what you'll be on.

There are PE seats both upstairs and downstairs but the jury's still out on which is better since the refits. Before, upstairs was a no brainer but now the cabin's split between PE and Economy a lot of people are less keen.

Bear in mind too that the further forward you are the more likely you are to get your first choice meal, while the closer you are to the exit the faster you'll get off, which could save a bit of queueing at immigration.
