Freebies- companion ticket and EC-PE voucher

I have an Amex companion voucher which is of no use. I have used one before for a friend who wanted a flex UC ticket and so got one free. So if anyone can make use of it feel free to ask.

NOW the harder one. I also have a miles EC to PE upgrade voucher which expires mid july. No way I will be able to use it before then (and will get 2 more in July) so again if anyone can use it and IF I can transfer it ...its free to a good home.....................

hi
my son and daughter are going to vegas in april, they have booked and payed for ec tickets, if you have no use for your upgrades and they can use them, it would be nice as it's my sons 21 birthday :)

I don't think you can transfer then to someone's else account but what about booking them for someone else via your FC account ?

Aren't the Econ to PE miles upgrafe vouchers only useable on a miles booking not a cash one?

happy to do that but i would need to get the miles into my account ....BTW its only one upgrade voucher (could use for 2 people upgrading one way) and MUST be used on a miles booking not a revenue one.

the companion one I would have to book but that is a revenue one. if someone is planning an UC trip its a good saving

You don't have to fly before the expire, you just have to have used them on a booking before they expire. So you could book a flight in June for travel say in Feb 14 and still use the vouchers.

You cannot transfer them to another account, but you can use them towards a booking not in your name. The complication comes from the fact one of you will need to be an authorised user on the others account so that you can talk about their booking, or they can access the vouchers in your account. Fine if it is your significant other/family member, slight less easy if it is a total stranger.

Neil, thanks . i know about the booking/rather than use. but by July I probably wont have enough miles to book the ec part and anyway I will have another 2 by then. I just cant see it getting used (will be the first time in about 7 years i havent used them both) ...I am currently loading up my new Chase BA card getting the 3 sets of bonuses (50k+25k=25k) -already hit the second level ,so I am gonna try the LCY-JFK service in June
