Power in A333 PE cabin?

Hi

We're flying PE on VS076 & VS075 from MCR to MCO/return on the A333, my 5yr old loves playing games on my Android tablet, so I was planning to take it onboard for the flights, the battery last about 4 hours, so I was wondering if there are any power points in the PE seats? we will probably be in a middle row of 3 seats, its a standard 3 prong plug adapter that the USB lead plugs into.

Thanks.

To my knowledge there is no charging on VA planes

You can plug your device into the USB socket, it will maintain the battery life while the item is in use.

On my recent flight (747) it did charge my iphone from 75% to 100% whilst in use. The crew don't like it when you just leave the device plugged in charging.

Very few people like a lithium ion fire in a confined space. ;)

I guess with the recent Boeing Dreamliner problems its best not to charge! I will charge it up before the flight and hope the IFE keeps him occupied

It's perfectly legit to use the onboard power while using the tablet, just don't go walkabout leaving it plugged in.

The PE seats DO have a power socket under the seats where you can plug in uk European and us devices to keep it powered up through our your flight.

They have a power socket but you need an adapter. I use this for my laptop http://goo.gl/1HXLd

Do they sell the adapters in flight? if so, does anyone know the cost?
