Cancellation of VS16 on 12.6.13

I've just found that I have been changed from the VS16 to the VS28 on 12.6.13. I've spoken to customer services and they are unable to give me a reason why.

Does anyone else know why the flight has been cancelled as I would assume this to be a busy period so would expect both the Orlando flights to operate each day? :(! :(! :(!

Could be one flight to be less busy than the other and made more sense to put all pax onto one flight, but there could be a whole number of options as to why.

That happened to me on the same flight in November - the day before Thanksgiving.

I can see VS16 being a full flight with VS28 full in UC but good availabilty in PE+EC

When I phoned Virgin they said the VS16 had been cancelled, I know it's not the end of the world but the later flight just suited us better :(
