Hi Claire,

I think the reason why no-one has answered is that the VS 300 has changed to the A330-300 plane and very few of us have had experience of flying it with an infant and so are unable to answer the question. We don't even know what the bassinet positions are - if any!

Perhaps some cabin crew in the know might come by and be able to answer this.

I've just found out that the bassinet position in the A330 in UC is 1D/G |:)

Hi Claire ,not sure how much help I can provide but all I can do is provide my limited knowledge of the a330 UC cabin which consists of one flight !if as honey lamb says the bassinet is in 1d&g then that is the front two seats in the middle of the plane ,to be honest I don't think any UC cabin is ideal for travelling with an infant but if you do travel on an a330 I would suggest somewhere mid cabin on the wings like 4,5, or 6 a or k to be away from the bar one end and the galley the other end to reduce any noise unless you want the bassinet seats that is ,that said the flight tonight is being operated by an a340 of which I have no knowledge so there you go I told you I wouldn't be much help.

Hi Claire,

My suggestion if travelling with two little'uns and an infant would be to pick the front or the back as opposed to the middle. If an A333 and you need the basinet then I would go with 1a, 1d, 2a and 2d if no bassinet needed then either them or 8G, 7G, 9K and 8K... will keep all out the way as much as poss and allow you to keep an eye on things easily.

As Blacky says the UC cabin is probably not best designed with infants in mind, but with the seats I have suggested it should allow for an eye to be kept on all and if help needed the CC are also close by.

Hope you have an awesome flight 8D

So there you go Claire myself and joey giving you two totally different answers!
Prob best to go with joey who is a far more frequent flyer than I and made a good point about being closer to the cc if req, also I remember 9k being a bit darker so it may help getting the little one off to sleep

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! oo) oo) oo)

I was worried because i wanted to be able to have a quietish space with a baby and also try and keep the potential for disturbance to other pax down to a minimum. the last time i flew many pax were rolling there eyes that i had brought on board a toddler which is understandable but at the same time a little not nice.... thankfully my toddler did not disturb any one and im hoping the same happens this time too ;)

thank you all again

Don't worry about the baby Claire,I've said this on here before but I will say it again you have as much right to be on that plane as anyone else and the people who roll their eyes must have forgotten that they were a baby who would have at some point in cried .we have all done it and everyone in the future will do it ,anyway they can always put their headphones on and watch a film can't they!
Enjoy your flight ,UC is awesome so you should try to savour it as much as possible .
