5 adults 3 kids flying to Colombo in a couple of weeks with QA. No mention of QA on VA site but says on QA site VA are a ff partner.

Does this mean you can earn QA miles on VA flights but can't earn VA miles on a QA flight???

I actually might as well join QA though as I have a BA PE booking to Dallas coming up too and they are in same network I believe..

Yep they were invited to join back in October (I believe). Will still take at least a year (perhaps longer) to get all the details worked out so you may be sitting on some QA miles for a while before you can transfer them through to BA.

But it is better than nothing ii)

I'm not a member of either yet as I am a VA fan but some routes just not covered
