The answer to your question is yes, as T&Cs say: "Existing Members who have already made a Qualifying Flight booking to fly during the Qualifying Period will be eligible for double miles."

Also noticed on the flying club site that while you accrue miles for domestic flights plus the long haul one you are transferring onto, when redeeming the miles MAN/EDI/ABZ to long haul counts as a single sector without the cost of domestic, so costs far less miles.

Any idea whether you get extra tier points for this sale? Just got a few trips planned and every little helps
