Help any advice on flights to Las Vegas in August!!

We are looking to travel to Las Vegas from Gatwick on the 5th August and want to know if there are any rumours about a spring or easter sale? Also due to the sky high prices where to book as currently the cheapest economy ticket we have found is £877!! :0

Doesn't look to be VS specific. Many airlines seem to be at that level or above for that route at that time of year. So I guess if one breaks away the majority will follow...

have you looked at going via a stop off...NYC for example and then internally ?

Assuming a trip of a week's duration, Expedia is showing a US Airways flight on the 5th August ex LHR via Philadelphia for £753.
Pushing the dates forward or back a week pushes the price up.

It'd say that's a decent price for a direct flight, in peak summer holiday season, booking under 5 months out.

We'd ideally like a direct route as we are only there for 4 nights and wanted to get there sooner rather than later.
We've been watching the dates since they first got released. When they were first released they were £942 direct with VA and now they are £902, so slowly but surely the prices have come down a little.
