Manchester Lounge With Points

Hi,

We are flying from Manchester to Reykjavik next week with Iceland Air. I'm looking into the possibility of spending some Vs points to get us lounge access at MAN terminal 1.

Is this possible? If so, is there a choice of lounge?

Many Thanks
Andy

As you are not travelling with Virgin I don't think you can use points for lounge access.

That said, there is a nice escape lounge in Terminal 1. Well, it looks nice from the pics.

Thanks, I didn't know if I could use the V-Lounge (if I used points), but not sure if they have one at T1.

Just seem the Escape lounge, looks quite nice. There is also the Bollin lounge, but no idea what that will be like.

If anyone has been in either of the above, it would be nice to have some opinions. It's only around £18 each, so not sure how good they will be.

My wife has paid for this holiday, so though the least I could do was start the journey with a trouble/stress free airport experience. :)

I presume you mean the V-Room which is only available to those who have booked through V-Holidays.

That's what I originally thought, but wasn't sure if it could be used with points. I'm also not sure how good it would be anyway.

Then I realised this.

Oh well, looks like it's either the escape or bollin lounge. Neither seem to be that great, but better than nothing.

Apparently there is a new Aspire lounge opening soon, but I doubt it will be within the next 5 days. :o)
