Noob question about 90 day seat maps

Hi.

My 90 day window just opened for my first ever Virgin flight.

However when I request the seats I want in MMB, despite them showing as available, I get the red error message up top saying the seats are not available. We are in PE so was trying to get on upper deck, but it won't let me select any seats even on lower deck

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi and welcome.

It will be because the seat map isn't actually open and live yet. I know it looks like it is on the VS site, but I am pretty certain it will be 90 days and a few hours, and for some reason VS show the seat map but don't actually make it live until almost the exact 90 hour mark.

Try again in an hour or two and you should be fine.

Thanks for the advice.

It was open when I logged on this morning but all the Upper Deck PE seats have gone.

Have tried to read the seat reviews on here but no clearer.

Are there any PE seats that should be avoided on the LGW 747 routes?
I have us in row 18 and 19 with window seats but rows 16 and 17 are free
