Seat Assignment Question

Hi,

My 90 day window has been open for quite a while. I have 3 sectors on my reservation (VS1/VS4/VS3041). I have been able to select a seat on VS1 and VS3041 but when I try and select a seat on VS4 it says "your seating request has been successful" but when I go back in, it's not there.

I have noticed that VS1 is in 'O' class and VS4 is 'N' class - should this make a difference? FYI VS3041 is also 'N' class but my seat assignment is there.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

I have the same problem.

Just upgraded my inbound MCO-LGW sector to PE. I select the seat, says successful yet when I go back in I have no seat. Flying club think there is a problem with the website.

Go figure..VS website giving problems?..What!..Never!..
Sorry, shouldn't be so facetious.

Sometimes upgrades don't make it through the system correctly. It will know you are in P.E. but has issues with allocating and correctly reporting seats.
Maybe call or do an on-line chat with VS to confirm your seat requests are there. I had a similar issue recently but when I chatted them, all was as requested, and I got my original seat request.
Hope it works out for you.

Don't know whether this is relevant but on a booking a while ago I had the same issue and although it was 90 days in advanced it wouldn't save my seat requests. After what couldn't have been more than a couple of hours it saved it. I think the system sometimes has a bit of a delay but I wouldn't worry because others on your flight will be having the same problem.
