Hi, we're due to fly PE LGW to MBJ in September. We flew UC last month & really enjoyed the LGW Clubhouse.

Can anyone tell us if we can pre-book the LGW Clubhouse for our September trip & what the costs are? If not what other lounge(s)do you recommend?

thanks in advance

I don't think it is possible to pre-book the Gatwick Clubhouse. It is possible to turn up on the day and if there is space, you can pay to go in. Occasionally, there are other V Flyers in the Clubhouse and may be able to guest you in. It's worth having a look at the Itinerary Calendar.

When I was passing through the Clubhouse in November last year, the couple in front of me were paying to get in and it cost them £45.

The No1 Lounge seems to get very favourable reviews on here. I've not used it myself so will leave that to a fellow V Flyer to comment on that.

Technically speaking LGW CH cannot be booked individually any more.. it used to be something offered to some VH pax for a price ): but the V:Room now provides this.

There have been stories of pay access on the day (£45) but not a common occurrence I am afraid.

It is included as part of the Guest List package - not something I can recommend though :?
There are 6 of you aren't there? Got that from another thread :P Probably a few too many to look for V-Flyer guest invites but you never know.. otherwise the no.1 lounge gets my vote. A nice little space to relax with a good selection of food and drink provided.

Was in the No.1 Lounge very recently for a trip to Switzerland. Very nice place to be though it is smaller that most lounges. They are going for a upgrade and increasing the space but as Joey said, a quiet space outside the humdrum of the terminal via great views of the apron.
