Hi,
Can anyone advise if I am likely to get the seats 'allocated' as the wesite will not let us check in for the VS006 today?
We are driving to MIA from Orlando and wandered how bad the news could be on arrival regarding seats. We have never had this happen before, I'm beginning to dislike Virgin again.
I am OCD about seats (can't help it) and would hate to be split up. :0

Left Clermont later than ever, arrived at MIA at 19.30, in a total panic. Porter grabbed six bags and we were checked in in under 5minutes. No problems at security and we still had our original seats. Woohoo.
I asked why we had not been able to checking online and the answer was "It's a full flight, we don't let passengers check in online as it makes passengers get to the airport earlier"
Thanks VA for making me panic that we would not be sitting next to each other and for only having an automated response on the phone.
However it was the best VA flight crew wise we have had in a long time, the outbound crew were awful, one flight attend was standing in the galley drinking water from the large bottle that she filled a passengers bottle with. Crew did not react to the call button and spent most of the flight in the galley with the curtains shut. No ice cream was the last straw. John had drink glasses dropped on him on six separate occasions by the crew, tey weren't even serving him at the time.

I had the same scenario flying back from MCO last year. I wasn't allowed to check in beforehand and was told to get to the airport early. Absolute chaos when I got there. And the reason for it was an overbooking/full flight. My sympathies as it plays on your mind all day on your last day.
Still, great to hear you had a good flight home!!!
