Checking In Question

Off to Orlando in December (so clearly far too early to be "worrying" about things but I am known for being overly efficient!) and have a question about checking in on three bookings.

I have my own booking and I have linked my brother in law's booking and my sister/niece's booking to my own so that it is known we are a family party.

We are staying over night in the Gatwick Hilton beforehand and I was hoping to do Twilight Check In the night before to get rid of our suitcases. Knowing my sister, she will want to repack twenty times during the night! But it sort of makes sense in that we could pack the clothes away that we wore the day before.

My question is ... would it be possible for two out of the three bookings to 'Twilight Check In' the night before and the third booking to check in as normal the next day with the additional suitcase? Or as the bookings are linked, would we need to check in altogether? It's not an issue in grand scheme of things but thought I would ask anyway :)

I would check in all three families at twilight so you are seated together etc, and then stop by bag drop in the morning and check in the extra case.

It will make no difference, so you can check in some/all of each on one or any number of the bookings, at any stage, so some could do OLCI, some Twilight and some airport and it would make no difference.

In reality, the linking of bookings doesn't really do that much. It might mean if the system has to allocate the seats it will place the bookings close if possible, but otherwise it doesn't really add anything.

Thanks both!

Plan to do OLCI beforehand so dropping the cases off is just to save faffing about in the morning (I quite enjoyed swanning through the airport with just my hand luggage last time!!).

If it makes no difference, we will check a couple of cases in the night before and then the third one on the morning. And if we can't, no great shakes!
