I notice Virgin was the only airline to cancel their Boston flight yesterday. I know none of the crew were injured but hotel was nearby.
Anyone know why it was cancelled?

Was the VS12 Cancelled??
The schedule is showing as delayed by about an hour, not canceled.

The crew hotel was one block from the explosions. As you can imagine the whole area was cordoned off and crew unable to get to the airport

I flew out of Boston at 4.30 today (US Airways to PHL) and noticed that there was a Virgin A330 off stand near the UPS hangar.
Thought it was strange to be parked there, and doubted it was the VS11 arrived early, so I also thought yesterday's flight might have been cancelled and it had been moved off stand, as the Lufthansa jumbo uses the same stand (Gate 8A) in the afternoon.
