Hi Everyone,

First post for me, so I hope you can help! We're flying back from LAX to LHR (VS8) on 30th July and just about to book our seats. I will be traveling with my wife and 6 year old boy. First time in PE for us so I just wondered if the armrests between seats lift up the like in economy, so son can lay across us and his seat to sleep or do I just get him a window seat and let him curl up in that!!

Also I have 34G,H,K on the way out (VS7) out I noticed the G seat is staggered forward by almost a row (we had this problem In economy last year)31A,C & 32C are still available do you think this is a better option!! Aircraft is showing as 747 both ways

Thanks Dave

Welcome to V-Flyer :)

No sorry, the arm rests between PE seats are all fixed and not movable as that is where the table is stored.

Hi Dave and welcome to V-Flyer.

Hmm, from memory I believe you are correct - the middle banks are slightly out of line with their window seats in the same row. The seat maps on here appear to disagree :? - perhaps someone else could confirm in case my mind is playing tricks on me, entirely possible :P

Regardless, personally speaking I would be very tempted by the 31 A, C and 32 C combination. It would be good for the little one with parents next to and behind, although it depends on what the parents wish to do for the flight?? Bury into the IFE, sleep or chat? Not the best combination for conversing I'm afraid ii)
