How do Clubhouse Invites work?

I see various itineraries posted that say they have Clubhouse invites available. How do the invites work, and how do you know you have one? I don't see anything on the Virgin website and my searching on v-flyer just turned up more posts from people with invites.

The reason I ask is that I'm booked to fly business (I class) at the start of June and it would be a shame to not offer the invite if it turns out I actually have one.

It's very simple really. Any pax flying in UC or that is an Au card holder can take one guest in the CH with them. Here at V-Flyer, being the friendly bunch we are, we decided to allow people to offer the invite to those flying on the same day that don't have access. It is very informal and arranged between the two parties, so if you post an itinerary showing you have some spare access, another user would PM you to arrange meeting up.

There are a couple of important things to remember, the other guest must be flying on a VS flight on the same day as you. While they don't have to arrive at the lounge with you (you can leave their details at the desk), they must have arrived before you leave and technically they are meant to leave the lounge when you do (although this really isn't policed, or easy to police).

Thanks - I've updated my Itinerary posts (LHR->EWR on Jun 3 and EWR->LHR Jun 8) now that I'm in the know!
