Hey all V-flyers,

i have some Flying club air miles and i wanted to know if i can book a chauffeur service with tristar and use my miles?

I have used tristar and think there great!!

Only if you have a 'G' UC fare - i.e. a reward seat.

Not possible on a paid for seat in the Z bucket

To be frank, it's usually not a very efficient use of miles.

Why not just book using cash and take advantage of the drive-thru check-in?

Im flying from LGW and they sadly dont have the drive thru check in! they need to have one. So usually i go tristar but their prices have gone up a tad.

But it's not great value as the miles you need are pretty steep!

No you can't - if you read the first line of the page you linked to it says - If you’ve spent your miles and rewarded yourself with an Upper Class flight..........

Therefore, as others have said, you can only use this facility on reward flights.

They used to have a separate building (in fact it is still there on the left as you drive in) but is now closed

When we have used Tristar, a few of the drivers have been able to drop us off on the upper level, ensuring just a short walk to check in y)
