Have decided the reward seat sale is far to good to miss out on so we are going to book UC out and EC back using miles to go to Jamaica in October. Do we still get miles and TP points ?? Do we find out the fare class after we book ?? Never flown UC before so very excited and it will be the first time I've been able to use my new v-flyer luggage tags

No you don't get miles and TPs on a reward booking.

No TP's but if you do miles booster you will get double or triple miles, depending on if and what you want to pay.

Depends on whether or not you're doing outright rewards or not - for example if you're taking advantage of the reward sale by redeeming less miles than normal to upgrade from a cash paid EC fare to UC then you'll still earn miles & TP's on your base (cash paid for) fare.

The OP has booked in the reward seat sale offer, so that will be a full miles redemption and therefore not a miles of TP earning fare.
