Unfortunately these Skytrax rankings have been questioned many times over the years. There have been allegations that favourable placing can come from advertising on the site, and other allegations that positive reviews are deleted by Skytrax in favour of negative ones to rig the rankings. So while undoubtedly Skytrax is used by many, despite what Tim Clark says, not that many people in the industry take much notice.

Overall Virgin Atlantic are placed 38 up from 50 last year.

Alhough airlines that do well, or were rated well in previous years were all quick to broadcast the news!
