Just looking through the aircraft database. I can see that the 319's and 320's aren't being used anymore (or haven't been within the last 3 months). It seems that all the N reg numbers are not in use. What's happened to these aircraft?

Those are Virgin America aircraft, not VS, and we don't have a data feed showing their daily activity like we do for the VS fleet, which is why the recent activity is blank.

Rachel, the country is denoted by that first letter of each aircraft's identity (or callsign).

Hence those with N, such as N637VA, N622VA are Virgin America's aircraft registered in the USA (I think the N is for North America (aviation buffs please correct me if wrong)).

The G as in G-VRAY, G-VSXY etc are Virgin Atlantic's British registered fleet starting with a G for Great Britain.

Not a stupid question at all. Indeed this forum is great because people can and do ask all sorts of questions about thing they don't know.

Also note that VS don't fly any A319s and the A320s actually have EI- registrations (wet lease from Aer Lingus)
