my daughter has decided she wants to visit us (again) in October nut the LGW-MCO fares are horrible.

she can go thru New York so we are looking at best options

she has 25000 miles I have 3 upgrade vouchers (my miles account is down to nearly zero).....is there any way we can combine the two to get her in PE ?

or any other bright ideas ???

Had a quick look at this. It does look expensive -- PE fares especially.

If she buys an upgradeable M return LGW-MCO, that would be about £770 I think. The normal fares are high so this is not all that much more expensive. A little bit of extra tax and her 25,000 miles would get her into PE if reward seats were available.

That was the best I could do. The same thing via NYC may be cheaper, but obviously then you have the extra flight to buy and inconvenience.

Maybe someone else will be more clever... :)

This is very date dependant, but Scotland has different school holidays to England so you can sometimes get it cheaper flying GLA-MCO during English holidays (likewise we do the reverse late June) and they're running a 747 this year so extra capacity. Check out those prices and leave a small sun for EasyJet LGW-GLA
