Is there enough time in-between VS201 flights in the Hong Kong transfer lounge for me to get a shower? (and somewhere I can get a shower am traveling in economy). 8D

You should have roughly an hour to wait in the interim period, so yep plenty of time assuming no delays or problems in the transfer.

As for the where... If you are AU you can use the ones in the HKG CH easy :P

Other than that there are a fair amount of pay access lounges and rest areas in the departures area so give it a google and pick a lounge. Sorry I cannot recommend any in particular other than the VS CH - one of my favs of the world. Service second to none and the space on the balcony is awesome.

Let us know which lounge you go for 8D

I take it you're not going to the clubhouse as an Au? If you are then be quick off the plane and to the clubhouse to either get a shower or put yourself on the list for one. There are only three (I think) and they are popular! If you're not there are showers in the terminal - best get online and research the location of them.

Thanks for the replies. Sadly not an AU (had to look that up), this'll be my first Virgin flight..

In a sense that makes it easier because you won't get stuck in the CH shower queue. I would have a look online for the alternatives, and maybe look at the trip reports here because I recall seeing reports of third-party lounges.

On the subject of HK showers, I'm going to have 5 hours to kill there tomorrow. I'm coming in off a BA flight and then going out again on Air China (both J). What are the lounge options - does BA have an arrivals facility that can be used while transiting, or am I going to be reliant on whatever Air China has to offer? A shower would be nice, but not sure what to expect...
