Gatwick Clubhouse

Tis was our first time in the Clubhouse at Gatwick and it was so good I want to recommend it to everyone!!
Walking down the cool little corridor down to the desk and we were welcomed with a fantastic "good morning" and a congratulations on going away to get Married.
Being shown to the cloakroom, we left our bags and the shoe shine man apears and says hello.
After taking a pretty comfy seat in the lounge, champagne, coffee and breakfast was ordered. WOW is all i can say to the eggs royale. A few more drinks later and it was time for a shave at the spa. With out a doubt the best shave I have ever had. The future Mrs B had a treatment which she loved.
After nearly falling asleep on the spa bed, it was time to wander. The lounge is amazing. Clever little room to put the kids in for those travelling with little ones. Few little rooms for even more peace.
After a cookie and the shoe shine man working wonders on my Timberlands it was time to board.
Ace thing I found was when you are called from the lounge, by the time you get to the gate, most folk have boarded and you just walk straight onto the plane.
I loved this Clubhouse and all the staff were brilliant. I will certainly use it again.
Most relaxed I have ever felt before a flight.

One of my favourite places for a leisurely breakfast and a shave as well. Even Mrs RC isn't complaining about paying for my cherubs to get in now that they have worked out they can get their nails done as well. Pester power has its uses sometimes...

Haha I didnt have to pester too much this time round. It is such a great way to start a trip. So relaxing. Worth every penny.
